Thierry Jomard, CEO
Thierry Jomard has worked for 25 years with United Technologies (UTC) at both Carrier and Otis in business management, operations and R&D.
UTC is a conglomerate active both in the aerospace and building industries. Thierry has worked for the building arm of UTC, which includes Carrier – very well known in the HVAC world - and Otis, the world leader in the elevator industry. He started out at Carrier in the Research Center located in the USA in 1993 and has lead different departments and businesses.
Thierry has worked and lived in the USA, the UK, Germany and Czech Republic. In 2014, he transitioned from Carrier to Otis in order to lead the global Operations and R&D activities: 11 factories and 10 lead design centers located in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Thierry graduated in 1991 from INSA of Lyon, France with a PhD in Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer.
Michael Bauer, Sales Central Europe
Michael is accountable for business growth in Germany, France, Benelux, Austria and Italy.
Michael started his career at Rosenberg, then spent some years as Managing Director of ebm-papst in Singapore, Japan and China, then being promoted to Sales Director Asia, Australia and Africa. This was followed by several years as CSMO at Bitzer deepening his knowledge in the fields of refrigeration and air conditioning. He then joined Trox as global CEO and was lastly at Systemair as Managing Director Middle East.
Fabien Buffard, Marketing & Product Strategy
Fabien joined FläktGroup in February 2018. In his role, Fabien is accountable for globally leading the Marketing & Product Management teams and support the development of industry leading Air Comfort and Critical Air Solutions.
Fabien has acquired 25 years of experience in HVAC businesses, holding various senior positions in marketing strategy, go-to-market & product management, acquisition integration and transformation. Prior to joining FläktGroup, Fabien was Marketing & Product Strategy director in Europe, Asia & Middle-East commercial HVAC for Carrier leading brand.
Fabien is a graduated mechanical engineer from University of Brighton, UK and certified in Pro -Cert Marketing & ACE UTC operating system.
Yvonne Comolli, Human Resources
Yvonne joined FläktGroup in May 2019 as Chief Human Resources Officer, providing HR leadership across the group.
Her key responsibility is to deploy consistent best practice HR programs, processes and tools in order to support our growth and profitability objectives.
Yvonne is a very experienced Senior Executive with over 23 years of professional background in HR and Compliance.
Before joining FläktGroup, she held Senior global positions within a broad range of industries. Yvonne holds a degree in Business Administration from Dortmund university.
Oliver Finckh, CTO
Oliver Finckh has worked for the majority of his professional life with United Technologies both at the corporate research center and its business unit Carrier on technology and product development. Then, he spent some years at Thermo King, a subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand.
With increasing responsibility, he has been leading technology and product development in a vast area of application ranging from aerospace & steam engines, combined heat and power application, fuel cell plant, and commercial & transport refrigeration. He has lead Global R&D activities with Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, has been assigned the role of the global Chief Engineer with Thermo King, and last but not least has lead an acquired business unit in Germany during its business integration and transformation phase.
Oliver has been graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and from Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute with a Master in Business Management.
Ausra Gesaitiene, Sales Eastern Europe
Ausra joined FlaktGroup in September 2017, driving the growth and merge of the businesses in the Eastern European regions. She is accountable for business growth in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia and the Baltics.
Ausra started her career in one of the biggest Lithuanian ventilation companies, Salda. She held different roles as marketing and purchasing manager and later as the European Sales Director for more than 10 years.
With her more than 15 years of experience in HVAC industry, she is passionate about growing international businesses.
Ausra holds a Masters degree in Business Management and a Bachelors degree in Economics.
Ausra is Lithuanian by nationality.
Ian Griffiths, Plants & Supply Chain
Ian is a senior executive. He holds a master degree in Operations / Manufacturing and has profound experiences in our industry.
He has been working with UTC for the past 15 years after having spent 20 years in the automotive sector.
Mark Grimes, Sales UK & Ireland
Mark is accountable for business growth in the UK and Ireland with a focus on special application projects for Marine, Oil & Gas, Data Centres and Clean Rooms.
Mark has worked for FläktGroup, formerly Fläkt Woods, for 28 years gaining broad experience managing P&L’s across Asia and Europe, with a key focus on turnkey HVAC Systems, Key account Management and Applications – Marine Oil and Gas, Cleanroom and Data Centres.
He is a building services engineer with a HND - Building Services from the Dublin Institute of technology and the UK Engineering Council examinations Part 1 and Part 2 and holds a supplementary MBA from the Smurfit school of Business - University College Dublin.
Mark lives with his family near Dublin.
Jens Heymann, Finances, Legal & IT infrastructure
Jens joined FläktGroup April 2018. In his role Jens will lead the Finance function, continue the integration and alignment of processes and reporting.
Jens started his career with KPMG in Düsseldorf and London, before working for REXAM. Over his 10 years tenure with REXAM he held various finance and managerial positions including Finance Director Russia and Head of Group Controlling, based in London. He then joined Gerresheimer AG, a MDAX pharmaceutical packaging company based in Düsseldorf, where he led the Global Pharma Glass Finance organisation as well as being the General Manager for the Pharma Glass division’s European and Asian operations.
Jens has a Master degree in management from Münster University and is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
Torsten Sondergaard, M&A and Communication
Torsten acquired his Marketing experience with Procter & Gamble where he was involved in creating significant value through introduction of a brand in Europe and the Far East leading to a world brand and one of the highest profit contributors for P&G.
Prior to joining FläktGroup (then Fläkt Woods) in July 2008 he set up his own entrepreneurial venture.
Torsten has worked and lived in the Nordics, Switzerland, UK, Middle/Far East and in the US. He holds a Master of Science in Strategy and Finance from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from INSEAD, acquired after tenure with McKinsey & Co in Copenhagen.
Carl Sverdrup, Sales Nordics & Woods Air Movement
Carl is accountable for globally driving application solution business including Data Centers, Marine, Oil & Gas and Clean Room, and also covering industrial and some commercial end users such as pharma, electronics, food.
Carl has more than 20 years experience in the HVAC industry, either in business development or business unit manager positions. Carl is an engineer (MSc, mechanical and industrial) with a supplementary MBA degree.
Ömer Tüzer, Sales Turkey & Middle East
Ömer is accountable for business growth in the Middle East and Turkey.
He has gained 20 years of experience in HVAC business with various roles. He started his carreer in Isısan, a leading turnkey HVAC Mechanical Contracting company. Following his role of Sales and Marketing Management in GEA Air Treatment he became the Managing Director to lead Sales, After sales & Production for Turkey and CIS Countries. With his team he had concluded many energy efficient HVAC solutions for very large scale Commercial & Industrial applications projects.
Ömer has a MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduated from Middle East Technical University of Ankara and Bosphorus University of İstanbul, Turkey. He lives in İstanbul with his family.
Trevor Young, North America
Trevor leads the American division of the FläktGroup which currently consists of three manufacturing plants and a head office in Columbia Missouri. With over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Trevor has worked for leading brand companies such as Swegon, Biddle Air Systems and Prior to working in the states Trevor was responsible for Fläkt Woods sales in Europe. Virtually all of his career has involved the sales and development of Energy saving, Green ventilation and Air conditioning equipment.
Trevor is an Irish Citizen where he studied Mechanical Engineering, he also lived in United Kingdom and now resides in the US with his family.
