An Indoor Air Expert Dedicated to Developing Better Ventilation Solutions
How did you end up at FläktGroup? - Around 35 years ago, I was invited to join Lapinleimu Oy. At the time, I was studying while also teaching HVAC and building energy engineering at Tampere University of Technology.
About a year after I joined the company, Lapinleimu Oy was acquired by Suomen Puhallintehdas. Soon afterwards, the company became known as ABB Fläkt Oy. Over the years, the business has continued to evolve into what is today FläktGroup.
What does your role involve? - I work as a Global Product Manager and I am responsible for products related to air distribution and air management.
What motivates you in your work? - It is incredibly rewarding when a team has worked together towards a goal for a long time and finally succeeds. There's always that quiet moment when you realise, "That's it—we did it." It's a truly great feeling.
What do you enjoy most about your job? - What I enjoy most is that this work allows us to contribute to something that truly matters to people: good indoor air quality. By developing products for air conditioning and ventilation, we help create healthier indoor environments while building a successful business which benefits everyone involved.
