Meet Karl-Oskar - Sales Enablement

We’re pleased to spotlight Karl-Oskar Sjöstedt Ceder, who works in Sales Enablement at FläktGroup in Stockholm. Since joining the company, Karl-Oskar has combined strong technical expertise with a passion for supporting others and building lasting relationships.
Working closely with consultants and customers, he plays a key role in shaping ventilation solutions early in the project lifecycle, helping ensure the right decisions are made from the start. His collaborative approach, technical knowledge, and commitment to delivering value have made him a trusted partner both internally and externally, contributing to stronger customer outcomes and long-term business growth.
1. What made you decide to join FläktGroup?
It was actually a bit of a coincidence. I used to work in the automation industry and was contacted by FläktGroup, who encouraged me to apply for a position. At first, I applied for a role at TSS Controls, but that position went to someone else. Shortly after that, I was asked if I’d rather work at TSS Mechanics, and that was the start of my journey here.
2. Tell us about your role today and what’s most important in your work
Today, I mainly work with consultants and support them early on with suggestions for ventilation solutions and system choices. I also go out and present our products to customers.
The most important part of my role is to be a clear and accessible point of contact for FläktGroup and to ensure we become the go-to choice for ventilation products. Consultants are often the first to develop solutions in a project, so it’s crucial that they’re familiar with our products and can quickly get the right support and answers from us.
3. Can you describe your journey within the company, from your start in Jönköping to your current role in Stockholm?
I started as an application engineer at TSS Mekanik, where I worked extensively with air handling units, the heart of the ventilation system. It was an intense and very educational role with a lot of sales contact and collaboration across different departments.
I chose to move to Stockholm, and for a while, I combined both positions, which provided a smooth transition and a good start in the new role.
4. What does it mean to you to be able to grow within the company and across different locations?
Being able to grow within the organisation without having to leave the company creates a sense of security and motivation which means a lot.
At the same time, you get to build new relationships and continue collaborating with colleagues in different locations, which strengthens team spirit.
5. How do you view your future development opportunities here?
FläktGroup is a large company with many opportunities, and with Samsung as the new owner, there are good prospects for continued growth. I’m still new in my current role and am focusing on developing in it, but it feels reassuring to know that the future holds more opportunities.
6. What do you enjoy about working here?
I would describe FläktGroup as an employer that provides opportunities and encourages development. The team spirit is strong, and we’re all working toward the same goal.
Personally, I enjoy working here because I like helping others and delving into technology. In my role, I get to combine both - I learn new things while supporting both colleagues and consultants.
7. How do you relate to FläktGroup’s values?
Team spirit is important to me for feeling fulfilled and staying motivated; it’s clearly evident in our daily work when we help each other and share knowledge.
Responsibility means doing things right from the start and owning up to mistakes if something goes wrong; the most important aspect of responsibility is that we all work together to ensure a satisfied customer.
8. How does your role help us deliver the best solutions to our customers, and what is the focus moving forward?
By providing technical support early on, we help consultants choose the right solutions from the start. We train, share knowledge, and build trust, which strengthens FläktGroup’s position as a competent partner.
Moving forward, we will increase our presence among consultants and continue to highlight both new and existing products. With support from Samsung, there is a clear ambition to grow.
9. What are you most looking forward to in your continued journey with FläktGroup?
Right now, I’m looking forward to continuing to develop in my new role. At the same time, it feels inspiring to be part of a company undergoing change and growth; there are opportunities ahead, even if you don’t always know exactly what they’ll look like - there are only great opportunities for us to grow!
