Meet Jari - R&D Director
A Long-Standing Innovator Shaping the Future of Ventilation
How did you end up at FläktGroup? - I have been part of the Fläkt family for many years. I joined Lapinleimu Oy at the beginning of 1988, and my journey has continued through ABB Fläkt and Fläkt Woods to today's FläktGroup.
What does your role involve? - I work as a product development manager and am responsible for the R&D of ATDs, fire and smoke dampers, VAV and fan products at FläktGroup. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in product development and innovation through roles in both Finland and Sweden.
What motivates you in your work? - Developing new products and systems is what inspires me most—especially when the development process leads to new features and innovations that have never before been seen on the market and that deliver real value to our customers. Seeing those innovations successfully patented makes the work even more rewarding.
What do you enjoy most about your job? - Product development is all about teamwork, and I enjoy working with such a skilled, experienced, and collaborative team. The global working environment adds another rewarding dimension to the role. It has taught me the importance of understanding that people have different perspectives and that there are many ways to achieve the best possible outcome.
