Ecodesign - Caring for the future is a shared responsibility
Under the Directive (2009/125/EC) Ecodesign for Energy-related Products (often mentioned as ErP) the first 13 implementing measures are estimated to allow about 365 TWh yearly savings by 2020, equivalent to more than 12% of the final EU electricity consumption in 2009. Electric motors alone are estimated to contribute more than 35% of these savings.
FläktGroup as a supplier of Air Handling Units, fans and ventilation solutions are already prepared to adhere to these directives concerning Ecodesign for Energy-related Products (ErP) as this is important for us to take our corporate social responsibility, and to help our customers to minimize the climate footprint.
Products are divided into so called ‘lots’. There are lots for domestic refrigerators, TVs, lighting etc. The most important lots that relate to FläktGroup products are:
Lot 6: Tertiary Air Conditioning. (This means Air Handling units)
Lot 10: Residential ventilation and kitchen hoods, room air conditioning appliances
Lot 11: Ventilation fans, circulators in buildings, electric motors
Lot 21: Central heating products (fan coils are included here)
Lot 11: Ecodesign Regulation 327/2011 for Ventilation Fans
Lots 6 and 10 were merged into Ecodesign Regulation 1253/2014 for Ventilation Units and 1254/2014 for Energy labelling.
Lot 21 is included in new regulation 2016/2281 which will be applied from 2018.

Types of Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the specific functions of a website to be carried out. For example, such cookies are used when a user puts a product in the shopping cart and then continues to surf the site (or other sites) before proceeding to checkout. This means that his shopping cart is not deleted even after closing a browser window.
These cookies collect information about the behavior of users on the site and whether users receive error messages (if so, where and after which events). Loading times or the behavior of the website with different browser types are also measured with performance cookies.
These cookies are not absolutely necessary, but increase the "usability" of a website. For example, the location entered once is saved so that the respective user can immediately see this location when the page is called up again. Form data that have been entered, the size of the font or the like, can also be saved.
Advertising or targeting cookies are explicitly there to show the user advertisements that match their surfing behavior. You often notice the use of these cookies after you have been to online shops: Advertisements for this shop reappear on many websites visited afterwards, sometimes with a (deliberate) delay of a few hours to a few weeks. In online marketing, this is also called "re-targeting".
