Sustainability

We spend more than 90% of our time indoors
The air, although we can’t see it, is critical to our performance, health, and comfort.
Creating a suitable indoor environment is very energy intensive, so it is no surprise that buildings are responsible for a staggering 31% of global CO2 emissions. Almost half the operating energy is used by HVAC.
There are HVAC solutions today which can more than halve the energy requirements and improve indoor comfort at the same time. If we adopt these technologies, we can instantly reduce global CO2 emissions by at least 6.5%, bringing us closer to net zero target and a healthier planet.
This is our goal and our purpose.
We care for your air whilst protecting the environment.

Our ambition is to be the leaders in sustainability
This means committing to ambitious targets for our sustainability focus areas, driving them through strategic key initiatives and communicating transparently on the progress.
We are proud to present our 2025 Sustainability Report
2025 marked a milestone year in FläktGroup's more than century-long history.
Our acquisition by Samsung Electronics, a global technology leader, opens a new chapter—one defined by ambition, accelerated innovation, and the scale to truly transform the HVAC industry. On a personal level, it has also been a significant year for me as I stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer and I am proud to lead this organisation forward in its new chapter.
By combining FläktGroup's deep HVAC expertise with Samsung Electronics' technology leadership, we are positioned to accelerate our impact across all customer segments and meet the fast-growing expectations of a world that needs sustainable air technology more than ever. Becoming part of Samsung Electronics' global ecosystem will inevitably bring change - in how we work, how we scale, and how we operate. What will not change is our purpose and vision: We are the leaders in air technology, delivering best in class, innovative and energy-efficient solutions to ensure comfort, safety and performance for our customers while reducing their carbon footprint. Those remains as relevant today as it has ever been, and it will continue to guide our work going forward in this new era.
