Need: An energy efficient and cost effective solution for air handling to feed Manchester United’s suites and executive boxes
Solution: 19 of Fläkt Woods EU air handling units.
Having been the pioneers of executive boxes 40 years ago, United is again setting new limits with the introduction of eight-seater facilities, and the EU has been selected to supply the air handling requirements for these boxes.
Their modular design gives complete flexibility, with a wide range of functions and options. Manchester United’s units feature airflow rates of up to 4 m3/s, and come supplied with panel & bag filters, gas burners as well as Fläkt Woods’ EU cooler packages.
COMPLETE AND FULLY OPERATIONAL
The cooler is a complete, fully operational cooling unit for air handling units, no requirement for external condensing units and refrigerant pipe-work. The cooling efficiency is extremely high with COP’s of 5, and complete with controls and a system that will ensure satisfactory operation of the cooling unit even at extremely high outdoor temperatures.
