Eli Lilly and Company, a global leader in life sciences, invested $1 billion to expand its operations in Limerick, Ireland—marking a major milestone in the region’s pharmaceutical landscape. The expansive 47,400 m² campus includes a four-storey manufacturing facility, a two-storey canteen, laboratory and administration building, and a two-storey warehouse with supporting infrastructure.

As a trusted HVAC partner of Eli Lilly for over two decades, FläktGroup Ireland was selected to deliver 23 CAIRplus Hygiene Air Handling Units (AHUs), 3 Multi-flow Pump Stations featuring run-around heat recovery systems, and eQ Master units for ancillary areas.
The project posed unique environmental challenges due to Limerick’s coastal climate—characterized by strong winds, heavy rainfall, and saline air. FläktGroup successfully engineered and supplied robust, energy-efficient HVAC systems tailored to withstand these demanding conditions, ensuring optimal performance and sustainability.
