Turning Complex Numbers into Clear Business Insight
We’re proud to introduce Hannah Bramich, Finance Manager at FläktGroup UK. Since joining FläktGroup in 2019, Hannah has become a key figure within our UK finance team, bringing precision, dedication, and a deep commitment to supporting the business through continuous change.
Relocating to Hereford to begin her journey with FläktGroup, Hannah quickly established herself as someone who thrives on responsibility. With a background spanning several sectors, she has channelled her passion for numbers into delivering clear financial reporting, supporting decision‑making, and helping teams across the organisation stay aligned and informed. Her attention to detail, collaborative approach, and ability to navigate complexity make her an invaluable contributor to FGUK’s ongoing success.
1. How did your career at FläktGroup begin?
I joined FläktGroup in September 2019. I was only six months into the role when we locked down for COVID in March 2020. Everything changed very quickly. I had to set up to work from home, and the team had to adjust quickly to the fast-changing conditions in the construction sector.
I had also relocated to Hereford from Surrey to be closer to my elderly mum, so it was a new job, a new home, and a new community all at once. Before joining FGUK, I had worked in finance at various firms including construction, commercial lettings, water processing, and a pub group.
2. What do you like most about working here
I enjoy the variety and challenge of my role, and I love how collaborative the company is. With both regional and global offices, I work with a wide range of people and teams, and building those relationships is something I really enjoy.
But ultimately, it’s the numbers that matter most to me — pulling accounts together, managing regular reporting, and keeping everything on track.
The team has been fantastic from day one. Many colleagues have been here a long time, and the culture is incredibly inclusive and welcoming. It’s the first place I’ve worked where everyone knows each other’s birthdays and makes a big fuss!
When I started in September, I came into the office on my birthday in December to find my desk decorated with balloons. I’d only been in the job a few weeks, and it meant a lot.
3. What qualities are critical in your role?
Attention to detail is essential, and I would also say tenacity. My degree is actually in psychology, and that helps more than you might expect — there’s a lot of dealing with people in finance, and emotional intelligence is a useful skill.
4. What challenges do you face in your role?
Constant change is always challenging, and the company is going through a significant period of change at the moment. Our work with Samsung has introduced new reporting requirements and deadlines for finance teams across the business, which has meant adapting our routines and processes. But with the right planning, good execution, and plenty of teamwork and support, everything is achievable.
5. Have you been supported in your training and career to date?
Yes, absolutely. When I joined FGUK, I was studying for my accountancy exams to become chartered, and the company was incredibly supportive. My team leader, Sharon, celebrated my exam successes probably more than I did!
