We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Global E-Commerce Project Manager to lead the strategic development, planning, and execution of our international e-commerce initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of project management acumen, technical and digital commerce expertise, and cross-functional collaboration—working closely with local and global teams, developers, and leadership to drive performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strategy: Develop and drive the global e-commerce strategy by aligning with business goals, defining and tracking KPIs, leveraging local market insights, and identifying growth opportunities through research, collaboration, and innovation.
• Planning: Plan and scope e-commerce projects by defining technical requirements, optimizing processes, and creating adaptable localization frameworks aligned with the global digital strategy.
• Execution: Execute and deliver global e-commerce projects by working with cross-functional teams, managing platform rollouts, integrations and testing, ensuring market-specific localization, and maintaining high technical standards.
• Reporting: Track and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Power BI to generate insights, drive improvements, and deliver clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Other: Serve as the central link between global and local teams, driving web shop success through coordination, process optimization, and proactive problem-solving.

What You Bring

• Proven experience managing global e-commerce or digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of the full systems development life cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in writing functional and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience with platform rollouts, systems integration and testing processes.
• Experience working with diverse, multinational teams and managing cross-border collaborations.
• Excellent project management and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong documentation, planning, and communication capabilities.
• Experience defining, tracking, and optimizing KPIs to measure e-commerce performance and drive strategic outcomes.

Technical Expertise & Tools

• PIM systems (Product Information Management) experience.
• Experience with EPiServer CMS (now Optimizely).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience integrating online payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• Familiarity with m-commerce and app-based e-commerce optimization.
• Understanding of international tax regulations, customs duties, and pricing models.
• Experience with AI-driven tools (personalized recommendations, chatbot integration).
• Experience implementing customer service solutions like HubSpot or equivalent.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks during rollouts and platform changes.
• Proficiency in web and performance analytics platforms.
• Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on UX and customer retention.
